Terms & Conditions

For the purpose of these Terms ‘we/us/ours’ refers to Pint- Sized Parties and 'you/your/the hirer' is defined as the person or persons hiring the item/s from Pint-Sized Parties, and whose name and details are recorded at the time of booking.

The hirer must sign the “Hire Agreement” (which incorporates these Terms & Conditions) at the time of collection.

Payment can be made by way of direct credit into our Bank Account. Details will be supplied with your booking confirmation. This must be paid for in full within 5 days of your booking confirmation to secure your items. Hire charges MUST BE PAID IN FULL before the hire can commence.

The hire commences on the start date as indicated on the hire agreement and continues until the finish date or until you return the Equipment to us (whichever is later).

You acknowledge that overdue Equipment will automatically be charged an additional full standard hire charge per item plus a late penalty fee of 50% of its standard hire charge for each day until the item is returned to us. Any amounts remaining unpaid after 28 days will be forwarded to a Debt Collection Agency and any costs incurred as a result of the collection of an overdue account will be payable by you.

You are responsible for inspecting the Equipment before Hire Commences. By signing the agreement you acknowledge that you are satisfied with the condition of the items. We will not take responsibility for shortages or claims once The Hirer has taken possession.

It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the Equipment hired is suitable for the purpose intended by you and for the age and skills of the children who will use them. All hire items must have proper adult supervision at all times.

You will take proper care of the Equipment and be solely responsible for the return of the items in the same state of repair and cleanliness as when they were collected.

A security deposit/bond of $50.00 will be required to cover misuse, damages to Equipment, lost pieces or lost toys during the hire period. This is added to your total hire charge amount and is payable within 5 days of your booking confirmation. We will also request a copy of your drivers licence for security purposes.

The bond will be returned to you via direct credit to your nominated bank account within 7 days of the return date if all Equipment is returned clean and in a satisfactory condition.

We have carefully selected items for our hire that are durable, hard wearing and difficult to break which means we expect breakages to be rare.

Some wear and tear is expected and this will be allowed for. The bond may be used to cover the cost of additional cleaning charges should the Equipment not be returned clean or insufficiently cleaned. Any use of your bond will be advised to you by email within 7 days of its return. Any costs incurred beyond the $50.00 bond amount will be invoiced to you with strict 14-day payment terms.

You shall be responsible and indemnify us against any loss or damage to the hire items. In the event of a loss or theft of the items supplied, you must immediately notify us and you will be responsible for the replacement value of the item or items. This amount will be invoiced to you with strict 14-day payment terms. Outstanding amounts will be forwarded to a Debt Collection Agency and any costs incurred by us in respect of the collection of an overdue account will be payable by you, any collection fees incurred will be added.

All prices quoted on the Pint-Sized Parties website and on the hire agreement are inclusive of GST and we reserve the right to amend prices at any time without notice.

The Equipment supplied for hire by us will remain our exclusive property. The agreement is personal to you. You will not lend, sell, or underlet any items supplied for hire without prior consent.

Signing of the hire agreement indicates acceptance of instruction for the safe use of the hire equipment and acceptance that the Hirer has read, understood and agreed to all of the stated hire Terms & Conditions of Pint-Sized Parties. No hire will be entered into without the signing of the agreement.


All items need to be picked up and returned to our address at 43 Birkdale Road in Birkdale on the North Shore. Our collection times are Friday 10am until 4pm and again on Saturday morning from 8:30am to 10am. The drop off times are Sunday evening 4pm to 6:00pm and Monday 10am to 4pm.

Delivery is available to addresses on the North Shore only. An additional fee of up to $25 each way will apply (depending on your address). Please enquire upon booking for a suitable delivery time if you are interested in this service.


If you need to cancel a booking  - you may do so up to 3 weeks before your booking without forfeiting any of your deposit. Cancellations made within 3 weeks of your booking will forfeit 50% of your booking fee. Your bond is excluded from this and will be returned upon cancellation.

Insurance, Liability, and Responsibility:

We do not assume responsibility for or in any way guarantee your event. We shall not be liable and the Hirer or their nominated carer hereby releases us from any loss or damage howsoever arising (whether arising from negligence, personal injury, death, property damage, or infringement of third party rights or otherwise). We do not accept any liability as a result of a failure to comply with specific instructions and under no circumstances will we be held liable for any injury caused by or arising from items supplied. The Hirer must ensure that any or all children using any equipment supplied by us are supervised by a competent person at all times.

In the event of loss or theft of the items hired, the Hirer must provide a police report in the case of theft and a signed statement in the case of loss. Full replacement value will be charged.

Age Limit:

Most of our equipment is suitable for children up to 6 years of age. Young children must be supervised by an adult at all times when playing with the equipment. NO responsibility will be taken for any accidents caused as a result of negligence when playing with this equipment. Safety matting is supplied with the Bouncy Castles and upon request for other items. The Hirer must ensure that any or all children using any equipment supplied by Pint-Sized Parties are supervised by a competent person (preferably an adult) at all times.

Your Privacy:

Pint-Sized Parties collects and retains in its database personal information gathered from our website, emails or Facebook for the purpose of advising of new products, services and special offers.

It is our intention to maintain your privacy at all times. If at any such time you wish to withdraw from our database, please contact us and we will have your name removed. Pint-Sized Parties does not use telemarketers in any campaign and will not ask for credit card details.
